Expeditor

Auberge du Soleil is seeking a skilled Expeditor to join our dynamic team. As an Expeditor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of orders from the kitchen to our guests' tables, providing an exceptional dining experience.

• Communicate effectively between the front of house and back of house teams to ensure seamless service.
• Ensure all orders are completed accurately, on time, and with the correct priority.
• Perform finishing touches on completed dishes, such as adding garnishes and removing smudges.
• Assist servers, bartenders, and guests in the dining experience, taking orders and delivering requested items efficiently.
• Relate with guests to ensure their needs are met, and their satisfaction with beverages and drinks is consistently high.
• Operate, maintain, and properly clean all restaurant equipment and fittings.
• Ensure the expediting area and restaurant outlets are tidy, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
• Verify that food is served in accordance with safety standards, such as proper temperature.
• Check in with guests upon delivery of dishes and ensure they have everything they need.

• Prior experience as an expeditor is required.
• Prior experience in customer service or a similar role in a luxury setting is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
• Ability to communicate in English.
