Job Description

Job Title: Customer Service Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Support professional to join our team at The Staffing Resource Group Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients in the aviation and manufacturing industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with program management organizations, key account managers, and customer support & sales managers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and manage sales and service orders in the ERP system, ensuring timely completion and resolution.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities by searching for used parts in inventory and implementing efficient solutions.
  • Monitor progress of maintenance and manufacturing jobs, working closely with production managers to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage outbound and occasional inbound logistics of products and parts, ensuring timely delivery and resolution.
  • Assist with invoicing and collection of receivables from customers, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payment.
  • Maintain paper and electronic files of MRO and manufacturing jobs, adhering to QMS requirements.
  • Issue parts pick tickets from the ERP system, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Occasionally travel to visit customers at trade shows or at their facilities, building relationships and resolving issues.
  • Perform contract reviews of all orders, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, import/export shipping, documentation, and quality standards.
  • Make timely status updates to internal or external customers, ensuring transparency and communication.
  • Assist in developing pricing for non-standard MRO jobs, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Quote MRO jobs to customers, as authorized, and follow up on quote approvals.
  • Develop a relationship of trust with customers, working closely with other employees to share information and resolve production issues.
  • Manage phone and email communications with customer representatives, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Work closely with planners to identify shortages and additional order requirements, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with individuals and teams at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a desk-based office environment and/or on a shop floor environment.
  • Attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Prior experience managing multiple accounts and tasks concurrently.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Experience optimizing schedule, cost, and quality constraints.
  • Experience with SAP or another integrated enterprise resource program (ERP) to work inside the ERP environment.
