Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mass Communication Specialist to join our Public Affairs team. As an Army Public Affairs Mass Communication Specialist, you will play a critical role in supervising and assisting the administration of Army public affairs programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and prepare news releases, articles, web-based material, and photographs on Army personnel and activities.
  • Gather information for military news programs and publications within a unit and around the Army.
  • Develop ideas for news articles and arrange and conduct interviews.
  • Write news releases, feature articles, and editorials.
  • Conduct media training and provide public speaking services.
Training and Skills

As a Mass Communication Specialist, you will receive comprehensive training in news writing, research, and interviewing techniques. You will also learn about newspaper design and production, photojournalism, and public speaking.

Our training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a wide range of careers in journalism, media, and content production. You will gain real-world experience in magazine or newspaper writing, video production, photography, and more.
