Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to join our team in the School of Nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring graduate nursing students, as well as contributing to the development of our academic programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate-level nursing courses, including clinical and theoretical components
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students and the nursing profession
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students
  • Contribute to the development of our academic programs, including curriculum design and assessment
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in nursing with three years of relevant, recent clinical experience
  • Previous teaching experience in an academic setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to excellence in teaching and academic advising
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in nursing or a related field
  • Formal postdoctoral research training
  • Publication record in peer-reviewed journals
  • Experience in grant funding and research
Licensing and Certifications
  • Eligibility for or current licensure to practice nursing in the state
  • Current APRN license in the state and affiliate states
  • National certification in area of advanced specialization
