Job Title: Assembly Technician

At Emerald Resource Group, we are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in our production process, responsible for assembling components, performing wiring and cabling, conducting quality checks, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and assemble components, including cabinets, doors, locks, sheet metal parts, and specialty builds.
  • Layout and perform the complete wiring and cabling of all assemblies and systems related to alarm options.
  • Check and test completed units and assemblies for adherence to specifications, making necessary adjustments and repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area in compliance with 6S standards.
  • Provide instruction and training to team members as required.
  • Assist in various material handling tasks and work on a variety of products.
  • Monitor quality data using Total Quality Checkpoints (TQC) and participate in required training.
  • Complete necessary forms and documentation according to your area of responsibility.
  • Perform basic data entry tasks such as scanning barcodes and reporting production numbers.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of wiring, cabling, and component assembly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.
