Job Overview

Warne Plumbing and Heating LLC is seeking a skilled Plumbing Service Technician to provide excellent service in commercial, industrial, and residential plumbing and heating.

Responsibilities include assembling, installing, or repairing pipes, fittings, or fixtures according to specifications and plumbing codes.

Key duties include

  • Ensuring all work meets federal, state, and local codes
  • Preparing, fabricating, and installing plumbing and piping systems
  • Reading and understanding blueprints
  • Repairing and installing various materials, including steel, copper, PEX, PVC, and cast iron
  • Determining necessary tools and equipment for job completion
  • Operating power tools and equipment
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in proper working order
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Required skills and qualifications

  • Enrollment or completion of a recognized apprenticeship program
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety procedures
  • Strong mechanical skills
  • Working knowledge of various plumbing related fixture and equipment repairs
  • Ability to learn and operate various power tools and heavy equipment
  • Able to legally work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting between 75 – 100 pounds, standing for extended periods, climbing, and working in confined spaces
