Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Jimmy John's. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, working closely with the General Manager to ensure seamless execution of our business strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing restaurant operations, including managing food and labor costs, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Train and develop new hires, providing coaching and guidance to help them succeed in their roles.
  • Identify opportunities to promote the restaurant through trade and community events, and develop strategies to drive sales and improve forecasting.
  • Implement and maintain advanced cash handling policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in a quick-service restaurant environment, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including food safety, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and vendors.
