You will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' nutritional needs, taking into account their medical history, dietary preferences, and lifestyle factors.
- Nutrition Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans, including recommendations for diet and meal patterns, supplements, and parenteral and enteral feedings.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our healthcare team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring that all team members are informed and aligned.
- Education and Counseling: Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on normal nutrition and therapeutic diets, taking into account their educational, cultural, and socioeconomic background.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure that our nutrition services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, with a strong background in inpatient nutrition services.
- Licensure: Pennsylvania Registered Dietitian License is required.
