Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our Inpatient Department at Wayne Hospital Company. This is a full-time position working third shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, and every other weekend; holiday rotation required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including basic observations and essential points of care about emergency patients.
  • Assist with treatments, procedures, and other patient-related tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness and life safety training.

Requirements:

  • 6 months experience in a healthcare environment desired.
  • STNA License required within 6 months.
  • Current CPR certification or successful completion upon hire to the position.
  • Computer skills to meet the needs of the position.
  • Current Hazmat training or successful completion upon hire to the position.
