Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all facilities, including buildings, equipment, and grounds.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Plan, budget, and schedule maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all facilities and equipment meet safety and regulatory standards, and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Project Management: Plan and execute projects related to facilities and maintenance, including renovations, expansions, and upgrades.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that facilities and maintenance needs are met, and that all parties are informed and engaged.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as plant engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of maintenance equipment, materials handling, and hand and power tools; experience with 6 Sigma/LEAN manufacturing practices; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to talk, listen, walk, reach, and move supplies, tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Work Environment: Regularly performed in a combination of office and shop environments, with exposure to dust, odors, fumes, and noise.
