Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience to join our team. As a key member of our litigation department, you will manage a diverse caseload, handle cases from inception through trial and resolution, and collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and provide legal counsel.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of litigation matters, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
  • Maintain thorough case files and ensure compliance with deadlines and procedural requirements
  • Stay current with legal developments and changes in relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and support staff

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Virginia
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in creditors' rights and real estate matters
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent legal research and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
