Key Responsibilities:- Lead the technical vision and strategy for the Data organization
- Develop and implement data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data stream processing tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision making
- Mentor and guide engineering teams to foster their career growth and technical skills
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Hands-on production experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery)
- Experience building ETL and ELT pipelines using tools such as Debezium, DMS, StreamSets, or DBT
- Familiarity with job orchestration tools such as Airflow and Jenkins
- Experience with data stream processing tools such as Kafka, Spark, or Flink
- Availability for off-hours on-call support
- Experience in the Gaming Industry (ideally)
- Proficient in Java (Spring Boot or similar framework) or Python (Flask or similar framework) for backend development
- Experience building out segmentation platforms
- Supported Business Intelligence and User Acquisition functions
- Machine Learning (ML) experience
- Experience with recognized industry patterns, methodologies, and techniques
- Starting Total Compensation (base salary + equity): $200K+, with potential for higher compensation based on experience and qualifications
