As a vital member of our logistics team, you will ensure the smooth operation of shipping and receiving processes at Seal & Design.
Key Responsibilities:
· Arrive punctually and adhere to the company’s attendance guidelines.
· Accurately interpret customer specifications on pick lists to fulfill outgoing orders, ensuring correct quantities, materials, and destinations.
· Conduct cycle counts to verify the balance of orders post-picking.
· Package items for resale according to provided pick lists.
· Prepare and attach necessary documentation for shipments in compliance with customer and U.S. customs regulations.
· Submit completed daily pick lists and shipping documentation to the Accounting Department for invoicing and record-keeping.
· Inventory resale items in accordance with FIFO (first-in, first-out) procedures.
· Unload incoming shipments, reconcile bills of lading, and verify received materials and quantities against purchase orders, ensuring each item is labeled accurately.
· Assess incoming materials, separate damaged goods as needed, and notify supervisors of any discrepancies.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization in warehouse areas.
· Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently for order fulfillment and loading/unloading tasks.
· Clean and prepare company vehicles for subsequent deliveries in a secure manner.
· Adhere to all safety and security protocols.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
· Familiarity with U.S. Customs tariff codes.
· Proficient in a computer-supported environment with business software.
· Strong mathematical and communication skills.
· Valid forklift certification.
