Job Summary:

NVIDIA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Security Architect to join our GPU Security Architecture team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, validating, and guiding the implementation of hardware security for our GPU products with a focus on security verification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define verification flows and requirements for GPU security features.
  • Collaborate with architecture, HW IP, and fullchip verification teams to ensure new GPU security features are verified correctly.
  • Develop and implement test plans and architectural model tests to verify GPU security requirements.
  • Perform security reviews of firmware and hardware designs to ensure quality and robustness of our products.
  • Recommend best practices for secure service development and drive continuous improvement in the engineering organization.
  • Review architectural and micro-architectural details for features that improve security of our GPUs.
  • Drive verification of hardware features that improve security of our GPUs.
  • Collaborate to develop a long-term security roadmap for our products to ensure suitability for the markets we serve.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of relevant hardware development experience with a focus and interest in hardware security and chip verification.
  • Deep understanding of verification methodologies.
  • Understanding of processor architectures (GPU is a plus), caches, and memory systems.
  • Proficiency in Verilog RTL coding and scripting languages, such as Perl, Python, and Make.
  • A hands-on technical background; excellent C programming and low-level firmware experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic product-oriented team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with security testing techniques, threat modeling, fuzzing, negative testing, and other techniques.
  • Background with micro-architectural attacks (side channels, fault injection, etc).
  • Experience with HW level applications of cryptography; secure boot, key management, etc.
