Position Overview:
The Aspiring Financial Consultant role is designed for individuals aiming to embark on a career as a financial consultant within a collaborative team setting. We offer comprehensive support to help you secure your Series 7 and 66 licenses, as well as life insurance credentials, while you begin to engage with clients by arranging meetings for our advisory teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate initial Financial Planning discussions on behalf of advisory teams.
  • Arrange product discussions with advisors and product specialists.
  • Document interactions in the Client Relationship Management system.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, listening, and communication abilities.
  • Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Ability to cultivate high-quality relationships through phone-based interactions.
  • Active SIE, or the ability to obtain it within the timeframe set by the Ameriprise Advisor Center.
  • Active Series 7, or the ability to secure it within the timeframe determined by the Ameriprise Advisor Center.
  • Active State Securities Agent Registration (S63 or S66), or the ability to obtain it within the timeframe set by the Ameriprise Advisor Center.
  • Active State IAR Registration (S65 or S66) or the ability to secure it within the timeframe determined by the Ameriprise Advisor Center.
  • Active Life/Accident/Health and Variable Contracts insurance license, or the ability to obtain it within the timeframe set by the Ameriprise Advisor Center.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Degree.
