Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy infrastructure and platform services: You will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure and platform services using leading DevOps practices and tooling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: You will work closely with software developers, quality assurance engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.
  • Improve system administration processes: You will propose and implement process improvements to reduce overall maintenance requirements and enhance system reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance: You may provide technical guidance to junior engineers and other stakeholders on DevOps best practices, automation tools, and system administration techniques.

Requirements:

  • DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher: You must have a current DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA).
  • Experience with Linux or Windows System Administration: You must have experience with Linux or Windows System Administration, including scripting skills in languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps principles: You must have knowledge of DevSecOps principles and experience working with leading DevOps practices and tooling, including Ansible Automation Platform, HashiCorp Packer and Vault, Gitlab CI/CD, Nexus Pro, and VMware.
