Unit Details:
- Specialization: Pediatric Care
- Shift Options:
- 40 hours per week (day/evening rotation)
- 32 hours per week (evening/night rotation)
- 40 hours per week (evening/night rotation)
- 40 hours per week (night shift with every other weekend)
- Part-time options of 16 and 24 hours per week available
Shift Requirements:
All shifts are scheduled on weekdays, with the option to work every weekend for a six-month commitment. Compensation starts at $32 per hour, with additional pay for experience and shift differentials ($3/hr for evenings, $4.50/hr for nights). Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
Experience Requirements:
New graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in psychiatric nursing is preferred but not mandatory.
Role Responsibilities:
As a pediatric travel nurse, you will:
- Deliver comprehensive psychiatric nursing services, including assessment, planning, administration, and evaluation of patient care in alignment with treatment plans.
- Guide and oversee the daily clinical activities of assigned Mental Health Workers or other support staff.
- Document and communicate patient progress to the treatment team effectively.
