Accounting Instructor

Marion Technical College is seeking a highly qualified Accounting Instructor to join our faculty team. As an Adjunct Professor of Accounting, you will be responsible for teaching approved courses using applied learning methods in accordance with the course objectives, the established syllabus, and other College and program requirements.

1. Teach Accounting courses to a diverse student population, utilizing a variety of instructional methods and technologies to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
2. Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
3. Provide individualized support and guidance to students, including office hours, email, and phone support.
4. Collaborate with other faculty members and College administrators to ensure effective communication and coordination of instructional activities.
5. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional strategies.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and strong computer skills required.
