Key Responsibilities
- Execute repairs and maintenance as outlined in the service order efficiently and in line with company policies.
- Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic tools to assess vehicle performance and identify issues.
- Diagnose and repair various automotive systems, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and brakes.
- Maintain clear communication with Service Advisors to keep customers informed about necessary services.
- Provide accurate time estimates for additional repairs as needed.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Technician.
- Certification from FCA/Stellantis is required.
- A-level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
- Strong understanding of contemporary vehicle technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a positive demeanor.
- Basic proficiency in computer operations.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and repair procedures.
- Proficient in using electronic diagnostic equipment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
