Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team at Fermilab. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for providing on-site support for the installation of project components, leading multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site support for the installation of project components
Lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project completion
Assist with the creation of daily and weekly work plans
Track daily activity and provide comprehensive shift reports
Abide by and enforce all environmental, health, and safety regulations and Laboratory policies

Requirements:

Four or more years of experience leading others in a medium to large-scale construction environment
Strong knowledge in formalized work planning and scheduling
Demonstrated technical and problem-solving skills
Formal industry certifications in one or more areas, such as forklift, aerial lift, crane, or overhead crane, rigging, welding
Ability to recognize hazardous situations and recommend corrective measures
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment

Physical Demands:

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds regularly
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and climbing ladders or scaffolding
Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching overhead
Ability to work in confined spaces and at various heights
Tolerance for exposure to varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation
Capability to wear and operate required personal protective equipment (PPE)
