Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure planning team, you will be responsible for designing and developing plans and drawings, conducting engineering investigations and planning work, and providing engineering services during construction activities.
Responsibilities- Investigate and analyze complex engineering problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Design and develop plans and drawings, including preliminary layouts and final drawings.
- Conduct engineering investigations and planning work, including site visits and data analysis.
- Provide engineering services during construction activities, including reviewing shop drawings and preparing records and progress reports.
- Research and evaluate alternative design approaches, site conditions, and regulatory agency specifications.
- Contribute to the development of specifications and permit applications.
- Prepare preliminary man-hour, cost, and material quantity estimates.
- Participate in quality control checks and maintain quality standards in all work produced.
- Coordinate with other disciplines as required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience in a related field.
- Strong technical writing and computer skills.
- CAD skills preferred.
- E.I. or EIT registration.
