Histology Technician

We are seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team at St Mary Medical Center. As a Histology Technician, you will play a critical role in preparing and processing biopsy specimens for diagnosis.

• Cut and process biopsy blocks for histological examination
• Perform special stains and IHC stains to aid in diagnosis
• File and organize slides and blocks for easy access
• Assist in registering specimens and preparing them for grossing
• Coordinate send-outs of biopsy specimens to reference labs for additional testing
