Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care to patients in a correctional facility setting
- Perform medical assessments and provide medical treatment as authorized by medical license
- Provide clinical consultation to midlevel providers and other staff
- Instruct nursing and other clinical staff on medical protocols
- Adhere to professional medical standards of care
- Participate in on-call duties as assigned
- Possession of a valid medical license in California
- Possession of a valid internal medicine or family medicine Medical or Osteopathic Specialty Certificate issued by an American Medical Specialty Board or an American Osteopathic Specialty Board
- Ability to work in a correctional facility setting
- Ability to provide medical care to patients with diverse medical needs
