Job Title: Associate Vice President of IT Leadership

Job Summary:

The National World War II Museum seeks an experienced Associate Vice President of IT Leadership to lead its IT department. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring that the organization's technology infrastructure aligns with its business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the IT team, including hiring, budgeting, strategic planning, change management, and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and recommend solutions that align with business goals.
  • Support enterprise system deployments and application rollouts with standard specifications, service management, and change management principles.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards for regulatory compliance and organizational efficiency and optimization.
  • Oversee the deployment of enterprise applications to a vast user base.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology and assess their potential impact on the organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in IT operations, system administration, and support.
  • Proven leadership in managing a team of IT professionals.
  • Broad expertise in technical support, business continuity, QA/QC, and system and database administration in a large-scale data environment.
  • Experience in developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and standards for regulatory compliance and organizational efficiency and optimization.
  • Experience in overseeing the deployment of enterprise applications to a vast user base.
