About the Role

Sensus, a Xylem brand, is seeking a highly skilled Plastics Engineer to support the Plastics Injection Molding Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new manufacturing processes, ensuring safe manufacturing practices, and resolving quality problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Aiding in the design, manufacture, and maintenance of mold tooling
  • Assisting mold setup personnel in new product tryouts
  • Investigating, specifying, and developing new manufacturing processes
  • Assisting in the procurement of new technologies and equipment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 4 years of Plastics Injection Molding experience
  • Experience in mold design, building, and maintenance of tools
  • Machine shop experience
  • Experience with Scientific Decoupled Molding
  • Supervisory experience preferred
