Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Staff, Platform Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of large-scale AI infrastructure, focusing on accelerated computing, AI fabrics, and optimized storage solutions. Your engagement with prominent AI clients will be essential in fine-tuning solutions for their specific applications and maximizing system performance. You will lead innovations at the data center level, particularly in liquid cooling technologies and power density management. Your strategic vision will be informed by comprehensive technical and business insights, integrating knowledge from industry trends, marketing, development, manufacturing, procurement, and customer feedback.
Responsibilities Include:
- Leading and participating in strategic forums and serving as a key point of contact for critical development challenges.
- Shaping future product directions and providing expertise across multiple technologies and products.
- Generating intellectual property, including invention disclosures.
- Managing complex technologies and ensuring their successful implementation.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience, particularly with AI computing and storage platforms, including accelerator ecosystems from both hardware and software perspectives.
- A strong grasp of AI computing design, network architecture, and storage solutions, with the capability to develop automation scripts for validation, configuration, and benchmarking.
- The ability to cultivate technical relationships with vendors to drive next-generation designs, maintaining a comprehensive database of multi-year vendor roadmaps and ensuring alignment with business objectives through regular technology reviews.
- Experience in identifying and communicating differentiation opportunities to stakeholders across marketing, procurement, engineering, and executive levels.
- The capacity to understand competitive and business needs while crafting technical solutions, with a willingness to travel as necessary to assess customer requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degrees or relevant technical certifications.
Compensation: Dell is dedicated to fair and equitable compensation practices, with a salary range for this position between $216,750.00 and $323,000.00.
