Opportunity with an Authorized Dealer

We are partnering with an authorized Generac dealer in Wilmington, NC, who is seeking a skilled Generator Technician to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and provide essential services to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on standby power equipment at residential locations.
  • Diagnose and repair generator systems, utilizing technical manuals and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ensure all repairs meet Generac quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication throughout the service process.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience servicing small engines in an automotive setting.
  • Knowledge of Kohler or Generac generator systems is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical service manuals.
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, responding to emergency service calls as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in using basic computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
