Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to work as a sales associate at our Five Points location in Fort Valley, GA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction for every interaction.
  • Collaborate with other store employees and management as a cohesive team to achieve sales goals.
  • Work according to scheduled hours by the Store Manager, with full-time positions requiring up to 40 hours per week or more if necessary.
  • Understand and comply with company policies and procedures, adhering to all relevant guidelines and regulations.
  • Execute tasks and strategies to maximize sales, control expenses, and minimize store losses.
  • Create a positive work environment by treating customers, colleagues, and management with respect and fairness.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all team members and customers.
  • Pursue ongoing training and development to enhance skills and efficiency.
  • Assist customers in resolving any issues that may arise during their visit.
  • Complete paperwork and records accurately and promptly as requested by management.
  • Inspect deliveries, correctly price merchandise according to corporate office standards, and note any invoice discrepancies.
  • Efficiently execute programs to achieve store objectives.
  • Ensure the store maintains an excellent appearance, both inside and outside, including storerooms, offices, and restrooms.
  • Familiarize yourself with proper operation of all store equipment.
  • Operate store equipment effectively while providing fast and friendly service.
  • Report any defective equipment or accidents to management immediately.
  • React productively to changes and complete tasks assigned by management.
  • Conduct yourself professionally when interacting with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Utilize effective communication skills with customers, team members, and management.
  • Accurately operate cash registers, lottery machines, and other equipment.
  • Maintain dispensed beverages, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ensure shelves, displays, coolers, and other areas are well-stocked and organized.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
