Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiatrist to lead our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and provide medical leadership for our rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing medically complex patients, providing guidance to the rehabilitation team, and participating in departmental and hospital committees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day medical care to patients in the inpatient rehabilitation unit
  • Lead the rehabilitation team and provide guidance on patient care
  • Participate in departmental and hospital committees as assigned
  • Manage medically complex patients and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
  • Current, active, and unrestricted Medical Doctorate (MD) or Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) license to practice in NY
  • Current DEA License
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
What We Offer
