Job Summary

As a Nursing Intern at Hunterdon Health Care System, you will play a vital role in providing quality nursing care to our patients. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will work within established practice guidelines to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with total patient care under the direction of the RN, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Promote patient safety by adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Contribute to an organized work environment by maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the team's goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Currently enrolled in nursing school with completion of the first clinical semester course (Nursing Fundamentals).
  • Experience: None required.
  • Certifications: Current CPR certification and Crisis Prevention (CPI) training is required. If not certified upon hire, must obtain certification within 6 months.
  • Skills: Normal basic patient care equipment, wheelchairs, and stretchers. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
