High-Precision Machinist

We are seeking a skilled High-Precision Machinist to join our team at Flowserve Corporation in Taneytown, MD. As a machinist on our 2nd shift, you will be responsible for operating and setting up manual lathes and CNC machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Machining castings to precise tolerances using manual and CNC machines.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, with all tooling and machinery properly maintained.
- Accurately interpreting prints with geometric tolerances and working with precision measuring equipment.
- Lifting large castings using jib and overhead cranes.
- Operating machines, tooling, and measuring equipment safely and efficiently.
- 3-5 years of experience in machining in a manufacturing or repair environment.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, geometric tolerances, and finishes.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Able to stand for long periods, repetitive arm motions, frequent lifting with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

The estimated salary range for this position is $26.17 - $39.26 USD per hour, depending on experience.
