Job Summary
ASM Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process formulations, defining equipment requirements, and reviewing processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement process formulations, defining equipment requirements and specifications.
- Review processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products.
- Coordinate design requirement review with engineering/scientific personnel to ensure compatibility of processing methods.
- Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
- Conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts, equipment automation technology, and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processes.
Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years supervisory role in responsible management and operational capacity in the industrial or commercial maintenance and repair of industrial or commercial facilities.
- Experience in the operation of a public assembly, hotel, or other commercial facility is preferred.
- Formal education in Mechanical and/or Electrical or Building Construction is desired.
- CFM or FMP through IFMA is preferred.
- Possess any additional licenses, certificates, or training required by local, state, or national authorities for the operations of the equipment found in the facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, exercising effective judgment and initiative.
- Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
- Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, and other related materials.
- Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
- Familiar with terminology and procedures of the Sports & Entertainment industry.
- Ability to make mathematical calculations.
- FL Class E Driver's License is required prior to appointment and must be maintained.
- Ability to operate motor vehicles with gross vehicle weight ratings of 26,000 pounds or more.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD programs and implementing programs as required for event seating diagrams and other projects at the facility.
- Be proficient in basic computer skills operating in standard word, spreadsheet, email, CMMS, and BAS programs.
