We are seeking an experienced Administrative Specialist to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Columbia, MD. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with mental health needs. As an Administrative Specialist, you will play a key part in ensuring the effective operation of our ACT team by providing exceptional administrative support.
About the Job Description
In this role, you will serve as a liaison between staff, clients, families, and other stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include facilitating team meetings, documenting meeting minutes, coordinating schedules, maintaining team rosters, and tracking client service utilization. You will also manage client medical records, monitor client entitlement statuses, and assist with program space maintenance. Additionally, this role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products and keyboarding skills. A valid driver's license and safe driving record are necessary, along with reliable transportation for occasional meetings and team activities.
Job Requirements and Salary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent plus two years of relevant work experience. Knowledge of behavioral health, public mental health services, Medicaid, and Medicare insurance is preferred. The estimated annual salary for this position is $50,000-$65,000 based on location and industry standards.
