Samuel Contract Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our esteemed client, a nationally recognized non-profit organization specializing in mental health and substance use disorder treatment.

As an ADON, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional patient care within a compassionate and supportive environment. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure adherence to the highest healthcare standards and foster a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct supervision and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Actively participate in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of nurses, ensuring a highly skilled and competent team.
  • Oversee clinical operations, develop comprehensive care plans, and implement best practices to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Maintain meticulous records, update nursing policies and procedures, and manage budgetary responsibilities effectively.
  • Champion quality improvement initiatives, conduct patient rounds, and promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the nursing team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience in addiction nursing, demonstrating a strong understanding of specialized care needs.
  • Two years of administrative or supervisory experience within the nursing profession, showcasing leadership and management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities, fostering effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License and CPR certification in good standing.
