As a Behavioral Health Service Coordinator, you will play a critical role in changing the lives of our 28 million members by coordinating access to behavioral health services and community resources.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Identify special needs members through health screens and other resources
  • Work with community outreach/member advocates to coordinate member care
  • Educate PCPs, members, medical consenters, and caregivers on behavioral health issues
  • Educate members with special needs to foster compliance with program and positively impact outcomes
  • Assist with development of plan-specific literature and education materials
  • Facilitate access to behavioral health services, including locating providers and scheduling appointments
  • Assist DFPS with accessing and organizing medical information
  • Coordinate the sharing of health information between providers and other programs

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in managed care and/or behavioral healthcare setting
  • Experience with pediatric conditions, patients with special needs, social services for children, DFPS or child welfare system preferred
