The Faculty Position in Internal Medicine is an integral role within the Department of Clinical Medicine. This position encompasses responsibilities in education, clinical practice, and scholarly contributions.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver instruction in the approved curriculum for the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program.
- Engage in clinical responsibilities that enhance the educational experience.
- Participate in research and scholarly activities that align with the mission of the institution.
Required: A D.O. or M.D. degree with Board Certification in Internal Medicine. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in Tennessee within the first year of employment and maintain an unrestricted license throughout their tenure.
Preferred: A D.O. degree with a minimum of three years of experience in clinical and academic medicine, demonstrating leadership in teaching.
