Occupational Therapy Professor Position

Job Summary:
Lincoln Memorial University is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy and Program Director of Occupational Therapy. The successful candidate will provide academic and professional leadership for the program, including responsibility for program accreditation, communication, program assessment and strategic planning, fiscal management, and faculty evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect supervision of students while conducting assessments, treatment, or any activities in class and community-based settings.
- Ensure safety of OTD students and community members during interactions in accordance with any industry standards or guidelines of 3rd party facilities.
- Instruct students on accurate and appropriate administration of assessment, treatment, and interaction with community members both on and off site.
- Teach, evaluate, and mentor students during the didactic and clinical phases of the program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Initially certified occupational therapist.
- Earned academic doctoral degree from a regionally accredited program not limited to a doctorate in occupational therapy.
- Current license to practice as an OT in any United States jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 8 years of documented experience in the field of occupational therapy, including clinical practice, administrative experience, and scholarship.
