About the Role:
- We are seeking a skilled Licensed Psychiatric Technician to join our team at Ro Health, LLC.
- As a Correctional Healthcare Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to underserved populations in a correctional facility setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments of inmates to develop and implement effective healthcare plans.
- Collaborate with the correctional health team to coordinate healthcare services and ensure seamless care delivery.
- Provide ongoing care and management for inmates with chronic illnesses, including education on self-care and lifestyle modifications.
- Respond to medical emergencies within the correctional facility and assess and address mental health issues among inmates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each inmate and work closely with correctional officers and security staff to ensure a safe environment.
- Advocate for the healthcare needs and rights of inmates, promoting a culture of compassion and respect.
Requirements:
- CA state LPT license
- 1 year of LPT experience
- Valid CPR/BLS Card from the American Heart Association
- Proof of negative TB test within the past year
- Ability to pass a background check
