Job Description: Advanced Care RN - Medical Surgical Unit

This exciting opportunity for an experienced RN is designed to bring out the best in your skills and passion for delivering exceptional patient care. Join us at Boston Medical Center's Medical Surgical Unit, where our nurses are empowered to make a difference every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Assessment and Planning:
  • Assess patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
Care Coordination and Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Facilitate efficient handovers and report critical information.
Education and Support:
  • Provide education to patients and families on disease management, medications, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to promote holistic care.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • 2+ years of RN experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
  • Certification in ACLS and BLS required.
  • Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred).
