Role Overview

The primary objective of this role is to deliver exceptional service to our members, fostering satisfaction and loyalty by assisting them in utilizing Ent's comprehensive array of products and services. This is achieved through precise and professional member interactions, increasing awareness of available offerings, and making timely referrals for additional products or services. It is also essential to adhere to credit union policies and procedures, as well as comply with financial regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). The Client Services Associate must demonstrate excellence in service, effective communication, product knowledge, and accuracy while meeting all performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering high-quality member service through accurate and professional in-person transactions, including new account setups, account maintenance, and adherence to Service Center Control Manual procedures. Meeting member needs by maintaining a thorough understanding of available products and services, regularly providing referrals in areas such as lending, investments, electronic banking, wealth management, and business banking. Ensuring compliance with safety and service standards outlined in the Credit Union's Policies and Procedures, as well as relevant financial regulations including BSA and CFPB. Completing required job training and development. Managing a cash drawer in accordance with the Credit Union's Cash Control Policy. Staying informed about and adhering to Ent policies and procedures related to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Required Qualifications

For Client Services Associate:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 6 months experience in customer service and cash handling. Sales experience is preferred. For Senior Client Services Associate: High School Diploma or equivalent. Training in Member Relationship, Customer Service New Account, or similar. At least 1 year of customer service, sales, or related experience. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a financial institution. At least 6 months of cash handling experience.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

A positive attitude towards community service. Strong focus on member service and identifying cross-sell/upsell opportunities. Attention to detail and accuracy in all transactions is crucial. Professional and courteous communication skills are essential. Proficiency in basic math operations. Comfortable handling cash with a high degree of accuracy. Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and web-based transactional systems for daily member requests. Ability to use a 10-Key by touch is preferred.

Additional Information:

Compensation:

- Client Services Associate - $19.91 – $21.99.

- Senior Client Services Associate - $25.83.

Compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.

This position may include eligibility for an incentive plan.

This position may also qualify for a bilingual (Spanish) stipend.
