Clinical Care Manager Senior

**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Serves as charge nurse and assumes responsibility for staffing and/or care of patients within a unit
  • Assists in maintaining patient care standards by supervising and directing activities of subordinate nurses
  • Provides counseling of employees on performance-related issues
  • Evaluates patient care practices according to established standards and implements quality assurance methods to ensure that standards are met
  • Maintains records of employees' participation in in-service and continuing education programs


**Qualifications**
To be considered for this role, you must possess a valid Louisiana license or temporary permit to practice professional nursing, plus three years of professional nursing experience. A baccalaureate degree in nursing will substitute for one year of the required experience. A master's degree in nursing or public health will substitute for one year of the required experience. Specialized degrees less than a doctorate will substitute for a maximum of one year of the required experience. A doctorate in nursing or public health will substitute for two years of the required experience.
