**Job Type:** Part-time/PRN

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist PRN in the Operating Room. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, mentoring and precepting new staff members, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

About the Role:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Mentor and precept new staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful transition into their roles.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, utilizing evidence-based practice and research findings to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of excellence and safety within the OR, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
  • Addition specialty experience may be required, depending on facility practices (e.g., pediatric, GI).
  • Active RN license in the state of employment.
  • Valid BCLS certification upon employment (online certifications not accepted). ACLS and PALS certification required within 6 months.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 per year (dependent on experience)
