Job Summary

POAH Communities is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Assistant to support the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of our affordable multifamily housing properties.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with HUD and state housing agency regulations
Assist in collecting rents, processing move-ins/move-outs, and completing annual and interim certifications of households
Work closely with other staff members to maintain a harmonious and cohesive atmosphere
Collaborate with the Property Manager to develop and implement effective leasing and marketing strategies
Provide exceptional customer service to residents and staff

Requirements
Previous experience with government-assisted and subsidized housing programs
Strong verbal, written, and customer service communication skills
Proficiency in MS-Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as familiarity with Yardi software
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Flexibility, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
