About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team at Temple Rehabilitation Hospital. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission to serve our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the guidance of a supervising Physical Therapist, acquire pertinent information and implement comprehensive treatment programs using varied techniques and activities.
  • Review and modify treatment plans in response to changing patient needs, identifying equipment and discharge requirements.
  • Assist patients in preparing for treatment and modalities as necessary.
  • Provide treatment to diverse diagnostic populations and complete supporting documentation according to hospital policy and State Practice Act.
  • Communicate and collaborate with support personnel regarding treatment orders as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Apply physical agents, therapeutic exercises, or gait-training activities as outlined by the licensed Physical Therapist, progressing patients in an appropriate manner when deemed necessary.
Requirements
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Previous experience in patient care is preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
