We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team at Temple Rehabilitation Hospital. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission to serve our community.
Key Responsibilities- Under the guidance of a supervising Physical Therapist, you will acquire pertinent information and implement comprehensive treatment programs using varied techniques and treatment activities.
- You will review and modify treatment plans in response to changing patient needs, identify equipment and discharge needs, and take necessary precautions to ensure patient safety.
- As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will provide treatment to diverse diagnostic populations, complete supporting documentation according to hospital policy and State Practice Act, and communicate with support personnel regarding treatment orders.
- You will apply physical agents, therapeutic exercises, or gait-training activities as outlined by the licensed Physical Therapist, and progress patients in an appropriate manner when deemed necessary.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Previous experience in patient care is preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
