Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their medical needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a specialty area.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a culture of safety and quality.
