Job Title: Teaching Artist

The Woodruff Arts Center is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Teaching Artist to join our Learning and Civic Engagement Department. As a Teaching Artist, you will play a key role in developing and facilitating studio- and gallery-based programs for learners of all ages, including PreK-12 students, adults, and older adults.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and facilitate inquiry-based conversation programs about the High's collection and special exhibitions.
  • Design and facilitate onsite professional learning seminars for PreK-12 educators.
  • Co-develop, prepare for, and facilitate studio workshops for a variety of audiences.
  • Attend annual teaching intensive series and monthly professional development meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in art education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a dynamic team of educators. Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in art education, fine arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in art education or a related field.
