The Electrophysiology Technologist I will utilize a combination of training, assessment, and technical skills in the accomplishment of their duties in the EP Labs at Maine Medical Center. The position requires the use of hemodynamic monitoring equipment and constant evaluation of the patient's hemodynamic status, electrograms, and vital signs.
Key Responsibilities- Scrubs and assists in the performance of diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures.
- Manages the digital image during the procedure.
- Accurately records patient information and maintains accurate records.
- Works with considerable independence and requires a working knowledge of Windows.
- Education: Graduate of a school of Cardiovascular Technology or school of Radiologic Technology.
- License/Certifications: RTs must be ARRT and have a current Maine license.
- Experience: Electrophysiology experience preferred but not required.
- Sterile technique.
