As a Technical Field Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the deployment and maintenance of FLEXIM Flow and Analytical solutions, primarily within the Northeast region of the United States. Your work will be based out of our Long Island, NY office, where you will engage in training and application assistance for end users and technical sales representatives. You will also gather customer insights to relay to product development teams and actively participate in meetings to ensure our products are user-friendly and fulfill the operational and performance requirements of our clients. Proficiency in flow measurement and practical field experience are vital for success in this role.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Executing installation and after-sales support for FLEXIM products.
  • Conducting field evaluations, assessments, and enhancements of existing systems.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service, application support, and product training to end users and sales personnel.
  • Performing in-house repairs, including calibration laboratory tasks.
  • Collaborating with product development teams to ensure alignment with customer needs.
  • Creating training manuals and technical documentation.
  • Educating field service engineers and sales staff on installation and troubleshooting methodologies.

Who You Are:

You thrive on customer interaction and possess excellent communication abilities. You collaborate effectively with diverse team members and approach challenges with a proactive mindset.

Qualifications Required:

  • An Associate's degree with five (5) years of relevant experience OR a High School Diploma with seven (7) years of relevant experience.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Capability to work in demanding industrial settings, including climbing and transporting equipment.
  • Willingness to travel on short notice.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in flow measurement within an Instrument and Controls environment.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Our compensation strategy is straightforward: we offer a competitive base salary aligned with the local market and reward performance during our annual merit review. The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $80,000 annually, depending on the skills, talent, and experience of each candidate. This role is eligible for overtime and includes a company vehicle.
