Position Overview:

We are in search of a talented and meticulous Content Writer and Editor to create and enhance persuasive content for our marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in writing and editing, with a preference for experience in the commercial insurance domain. You will be instrumental in ensuring that the content produced is articulate, convincing, and consistent with our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Development: Craft engaging and informative copy for a range of marketing materials, including website content, blog articles, email communications, social media posts, brochures, and whitepapers.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Review and refine content to guarantee precision, clarity, and uniformity. Address grammatical, punctuation, and spelling inaccuracies.
  • Industry Knowledge: Leverage your understanding of the commercial insurance sector to generate relevant and insightful content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with the marketing team, product managers, and subject matter experts to produce content that aligns with our marketing strategies and business objectives.
  • Research: Conduct research to remain informed about industry trends and integrate pertinent information into your writing.
  • Brand Consistency: Comprehend and maintain the client's brand voice and standards across all communications.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in copywriting and editing, ideally within the commercial insurance industry or a related field.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.

Skills:

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities.
  • Ability to simplify complex insurance concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and capacity to meet stringent deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the commercial insurance sector.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Experience in developing and executing content strategies.
